Funding Program Applications
Each year we provide various grant and scholarship opportunities to fund your program/education. More information and application can be found under each subject.
Classroom Grant Application (Opens April 1 - June 12)
This grant opportunity is for teachers to apply. The Foundation has allocated $15,000 for the upcoming academic year. Each applicant can apply for up to $750. Project costs can exceed that amount, but the applicant will need to explain where the balance of the funding will come from. The Foundation will award 20 grants total.

Community Service Grant Application (closed)
The Foundation encourages projects that make a direct impact within the boundaries of Sanger Unified School Districts. Projects could include, but are not limited to: tree planting, park or neighborhood cleanups, individual yard maintenance, window cleaning, painting, serving the homeless, creating care packages for those in need, and more. Funds can also be used to cover transportation costs. We encourage collaboration among school sites, teachers, and departments, and we welcome creative ideas.

Excellence in Education Grant Application (closed)
The Foundation for Sanger Schools has allocated a total of $5,000 for this effort. A total of two $2,500 grants will be awarded in January of 2024.
Funding request maybe programmatic, enhanced training opportunities, and pilot projects that are designed to enhance overall student learning.

School Site Grant Application (Opens April 1 - June 30)
This grant opportunity is for school site principals or administrators to apply. The Foundation has allocated $8,000 for the upcoming academic year. Each applicant can apply for up to $2,000. Each site must put a focus on leadership development, community service, or a school site project with an emphasis on student achievement. These grants are used to support the district’s overall educational goals to achieve student success.

Senior Scholarship (Closed)
The Foundation for Sanger Schools has allocated $33,500 in scholarships for any student graduating from Sanger High, Sanger West, Hallmark Academy, and Kings River High. The application period opens on Monday, January 5, 2026, and closes on Friday, March 6, 2026. Scholarships will be considered for seniors who will be attending a junior college, a four year fully accredited college or university, or an accredited trade school.
The Foundation will be awarding the following allocation of scholarships:
- 2 scholarships of $4,500 each
- 4 scholarships of $3,000 each
- 3 scholarships of $2,500 each
- 5 scholarships of $1,000 each
The application period is open from January 5, 2025, to March 7, 2025.
